Benefits of Organic Ketchup

Although very few casual restaurants offer organic ketchup to their guests, Mäni’s on Fairfax is one of them.  Why is organic ketchup a big deal?

For those of you who enjoy ketchup and eating healthier, read on…

Some of you frequent readers may recall me mentioning the site Real Age site.  In a recent article published on their site ketchup story, tells how certain antioxidants, such as lycopene and flavonoids are more prevalent in organic ketchup than in conventional ketchup.

Spotlight: Gian Retail Manager

My name is Gian and I am the retail manager for Mäni’s Bakery Café. I started working here on February 2nd of this year on the bakery counter.

I enjoy working with people and this was the prefect opportunity for me to improve my people skills and improve my overall persona.
image
I became retail manager of Mani’s Bakery Café the third week of November, when the previous retail manager, Dan Rib left to pursue his theatrical career. Since then, I have been working hard so that your Mäni’s Experience is a mind-blowing one.

Currently, I am attending El Camino College. I am considering a university with an excellent Anthropology program. My long-term goal is to obtain a doctorate in Cultural Anthropology. I’m fascinated by the many religions that have surfaced in the past century. I also enjoy hearing people talk about their lives.

I also enjoy fitness. Normally, I go to the gym 5 to 6 times a week. I also play rugby. I enjoy swimming and jogging. As everyone knows at Mäni’s I am a big healthnut including my careful diet.

Sometimes, people ask me how can I work at Mäni’s and not eat everything all the time. My answer is always balance and life style, which of course includes exercise.

In the future, I want to become a personal trainer. Hopefully, I will be getting my certification in the near future.

It has been a pleasure working with customers/guests at Mäni’s and I look forward to meeting more of you. I hope that everyone, including you, the customer, help me take Mäni’s Bakery Café to the next level.
