Customers' Thoughts on Yelp

I found it interesting, to say the least, about comments made on yelp.com.  There’s almost 60 of them, some wonderfully complimentary, others critical in certain areas.

All in all I believe there’s tremendous value in sharing information.  Although positive feedback is great, constructive criticism is helpful to be told what needs our attention.

In any case I think you may find this entertaining and some useful info from other Yelp commentators.

New Customers on Presidents Day

image
Yvette and friend (eeks I forgot his name!!) recently re-located to LA from NYC.  They found us through a green site, I think it was greentopia?
Anyway I need to connect with them again to get all their info.
But the point of all this is that because of Valentine’s Day, a holiday week-end, we had almost no selection left in our bakery cases.

So I grabbed a peanut butter cookie hot out of the oven and smothered it in our barley malt sweetened choclate.
I wanted to make a good impression on these new Angelenos.

They loved the cookie.

Hope they comment on this story so I can get all my facts correct! smile

Customer And Product Spotlight

This is the first story in an occasional series of customers at Mäni’s and their favorite dishes.  Our intent is to publish fun, or amusing or interesting experiences of customers.  These stories are for the most part spontaneous.  Our first story in this new category is about Ruby.  Ruby doesn’t fit our classic demographic, but there’s no question she loves coming to Mäni’s....

Let me introduce you to Ruby.  Apparently her favorite dish is guacamole, not necessarily with chips.  Perhaps the chips take away from the pure flavor of the guacamole.

image
Ruby licking the plate.  Yes customers are allowed to do that at Mäni’s

image
Ruby really liked the guacamole and is deciding if she should order one more plate of it..??  It was sooooo goood.

image
Ruby doesn’t wear make-up, she prefers the look of the food.  It’s very natural, nothing else added, so its perfect at Mäni’s....
