My Personal Experiences at Mäni’s

Mäni’s Bakery has provided me with a healthier eating habits and inspired me to eat better and live a healthy life. When I started working here about a year ago, I didn’t care what I was eating. Being in this environment has helped me gain the knowledge to eat better, live a better life and just be healthy in general. I have learned so much.
My advice, keep a daily routine schedule to help yourself out.  I always have TO DO lists at work and in life and I do everything one by one and cross it off as I complete it.
Here’s an example:

1) Follow your meal plan, eat healthy
2) Eat meals at the proper time and on a regular schedule
3) Use a scale to weigh portions of food
4) Learn how to make healthy choices when you eat out
5) Eat food and drinks with carbohydrates and fat in moderation

Keep yourself healthy. Keep your body running. Live your life better!

  1. This is a great reminder Juan.  I am currently establishing a daily yoga practice.  When I first considered it, I was overwhelmed thinking about where it was going to fit in my schedule.  Then I realized that I could start small - very small - I actually call it microscopic changes.  So, I now do 1 yoga pose a day!  I have done one pose every single day for the past 3 weeks.  I am already noticing changes.  But the key is to fight the urge to think in “all or nothing” terms.  Try out “a little” and see how it goes.

  2. Look like I have a little competition when it comes to handing out some nutrition advice.

    Excellent advice.
