What Happened to the Peanut Butter Bites??!!
Many have been commenting on the missing peanut butter bites. After the Salmonella scare from the peanut processing plant in Atlanta last month, the country’s supply of peanut butter, especially for commercial use has all but vanished. Our supplier has estimated we should begin receiving product again within a week or so. We’ll keep you posted.

The chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies are my favorite. But will you be using the same supplier? And if so, is there some assurance that this wouldn’t happen again?
Hi Steve,
We will continue to order our all-natural peanut butter from the same distributor. Of course, it is their (and our) priority to ensure we are only using quality product here at Mani’s. I know that currently the FDA is responsible for letting us know when the peanut butter will be safe to use, so we’ll wait for them! Hopefully it will be soon, though, because I really miss the Peanut Butter Bites too!

Certainly we’re all concerned with food safety. The issue was not which supplier, but which food processor was safe. As I believe you know, because of the name of your website this is coming from, that it’s the FDA who keeps our food supplies safe.
