As many of you already know, Mäni’s has used many organic ingredients in our products for years, such as organically grown flours in our fresh baked breads and desserts, pure maple syrup for our multi-grain pancakes, organic palm oil in our baking, organic coffees and teas and other select organic ingredients. But now we’re making a significant committment to using certified organic fruits and vegetables.
So starting next Wednesday, June 21st, the first day of summer, we’ll be launching our new menu and new summer promotion, It’s All About Summer, with organic fruits and vegetables. Your soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps will have all kinds of organic produce and vegetables like arugula, onions, peppers, potatos, zucchini, tomatos, cilantro, collard greens, parsely, lettuce, mushrooms, beets, carrots, cucumbers, garlic, mangos, apples, avocados, bananas, strawberries, spinach, peaches, melons, oranges, papayas, asparagus, kiwi and more!
So log back on here next week and we’ll have some promotion to get you started on our new It’s All About Summer theme!!
Yay! Finally I’ll be able to buy the blueberry, apple, peach turnovers?Comment by Dawn on 6/18 at 5:58 am
Right now, we won’t be changing the fruit on bakery end, except for Fresh Stawberries and Bananas. We will definitely keep you posted on our progress with that! Thanks for being so insistent. CarlComment by Carl on 6/18 at 10:08 am
I am so excited about the crossover to organics in most areas. Now my meals and treats can be even closer to guilt-free! Thanks to Mani’s for thinking healthy.Comment by Amanda on 7/09 at 9:02 pm
Are there plans to incorporate organic meats as well?Comment by Shana on 8/14 at 10:08 am
Thanks for your post. We’d love to expand our menu to include organic meats as well. However we are a bit restrained in the size of our location and what to continue to offer food that’s affordable as well as good and good for you.
So to answer your question, yes it’s something we’re thinking about for the future.
And thanks again for your support!
